Car (2001 156 2.0 petrol) starts perfectly when its cold and runs perfectly once started. But if its been driven for a while and the engine is hot, and I park it somewhere, then try and re-start it again, the bloody thing won't start. The engine turns over fine, but just won't fire up. I usually end up having to leave it for a good 10 to 15 mins and then it'll start perfectly again.

It's so frustrating, any ideas what could be causing this, please?

+1 to David C's suggestion.

TDC sensor, sometimes known as "crankshaft position sensor". Definitely NOT the camshaft sensor.

Thanks for all your help guys.

I had a look on eBay and can't find any on there. Anyone know of any good places to get a cheap replacement one? Aswell as some idea of the cost?

All incorrect, you have the wrong tyre pressure in your back left tyre.
Are you sure, I've seen this occur when one of the wheel lock keys was missing from the red box.

If youwant a hand fiting the sensor though just give me a shout and I'll check/clear the fault codes too for you.
