Remove glove-box , trace cable from throttle pedal over to passenger side (behind heater) and find the connector block , open , spray wd40 , close and hey presto no more ECU light , no more Limp mode . So if you have a problem with your motor (p0220) fault code , don't panic until you've tried the above method . Thanks to the people on this site .

I have n't got a picture , forgot to take as was rather happy that it had worked but if you check out the cable from the 'pot' it is 6 individual coloured cables in a black pvc sleeve , remove the glovebox and look for a white connector with the corresponding cable(s) going to it towards the top left of the airbag container , there are loads of cables there but only 1 that matches the one coming from the drivers side , coming from behind the heater unit , all the other cables are wrapped in cloth and airbag ones are yellow .
