Long time owner and occasional nosey parker here.
Got a 156 V6 and have suffered the naff front brakes for too long now so decided to bite the bullet and get some DS2500.
Easy to fit, took me about 45 minutes and then took the car for an Italian tune up to bed them in.
Should have done this years ago, they are night and day better, I can feel the ABS working. Recommended upgrade this!

Largely depends what pads you had before, I guess....can't say that I find much wrong with the 156 V6 brakes, compared to the 147 diesel, or the 75 race-car...which as I've mentioned in a different lounge, are less than good ;)

Good to hear OP.

Decent performance pads are miles better than OE Alfa stuff

I only realised how poor my 16y old 156 1.8 brakes were when I upgraded; larger rear vented front discs, refurbed calipers, PF pads, braided hoses and performance fluid.
