Hi all, I done a quick search and came up with nothing.

Noticed last night that when I have the heated rear screen on the radio on the headunit (Sony CDX-A251C) suffers terrible interference.
Have ordered some removal keys for the stereo, so I can take it out to have a look at the wiring.. I'm hoping for a decent job back there as there is an invoice for an ICE specialist who fitted the HU a few years back prior to my ownership.

Is there a common fault with the 156's etc with this type of issue.?

Cheers.

Yes. The power for the heating element goes through the radio antenna booster, causing interference.

Well... it would on mine if the wiring to the element worked

Check that the power for the booster is still on the "antenna power" connector of your radio.
