Any Info Helps

The wife's sportwagon refused to move the other day, started but stalled.

AA fella got her going again and issue was a corroded fuel pump relay which I intend to replace and find a cover for. Does anyone know the part number or are relays pretty generic, (I'm assuming they are).

Also two fault codes showed;

PO221 Throttle/Pedal position sensor
PO230 Fuel pump circuit

Is it correct to assume that these would have appeared due to the relay being duff or will I need to investigate further and fix further faults?

Cheers

Relays are generic but you need to look at the writing underneath. It'll show you numbers, how many pins and position of pins. As long as you can match these then you can use any make of relay. If you take it to a motorfactor they could match it or take it to alfa and they'll match it. As for the TPS. That is a different fault. See how it goes. You may get an MSCF failure if it persists.

Check the fuel cut off switch under the passenger seat hasn't been triggered.
