i'm trying tochang the slave cylinder on my 156. can anyone help with any tips i've got to off but its really rusty. anyone changed one before who can guide me through?? PLEASE:rant:

It's fairly easy...once you take the gearbox off....2 bolts (and the hydraulic pipe).

Unless its a V6........that's an external slave cylinder (hurray!) held in by a circlip thhat can be a pain....once that's off it just needs "tapping" out......

thank you very much. husband had trouble getting it off it was rusty. need to get a new sir clip now - job done! [picture was a great help]
