The project is, to turn my dead 156 1.6 into a monster.
some of the things to happen are :
OZ tourismo wheels
GTA body kit
brembo big brake kit
lower suspension
respray
q2 diff
fiat coupe 20v turbo engine.
Lots more smaller less significant things also.

Save your time and hassle and buy a GTA. It'll always hold its value better than a modified 156 and will be a better car.

Well id say a 156 handles so much better than a coupe, and i cant afford a gta, but i would much prefer to have a project, seems though it is a buggered car and i would prefer to have a turbo engine plus the 20vt engine has alot of tuning potential. It WILL be good.

whats your back ground as in ,can you fabricate engine mounts modify driveshafts fab exhausts splice wiring etc

aircraft engineer... i should say its not going to be done entirely by my self either something will be done by the profesionals

whats the point in doing something and having no problems what so ever isnt that part of the fun, then 20vt engine drops straight in, same layout as the JTD engine i think iv spoken to a bloke from torque italia he knows what the deal is.

personally though I'd go without the bodykit ... keep the car looking more standard (even the 1.6 badge :lol and you'll certainly cause some surprised

yeah i was thinking about the serious sleeper look, but it needs new rear bumper and front bumper aint too good either.
