[First 156]

Hi all,
We have a 2003 reg 156 without a locking wheel nut key, therefore I'm having the local grage remove the locking nuts, but need to get a replacement set (so I can actually get the wheels off if I get a puncture!)
Problem I've got is that I can't get a set in any of the local motor factors......
Halfords list a set, but have none in stock, however, they list one part number upto 2002, and another 2003 onwards?? looking online there seems no difference, all adverts just say "all models".
they're 16" teledials on the car and I can't imagine I'm the first person to need a set of locking nuts!
Any advice gratefully recieved, if there is no difference between early and late models I can buy them off the shelf on the way home!

The Pre 2002 set will have a 19mm hex head.
The Post 2002 set will have a 17mm hex head.

What size are your other wheel bolts?

Cheers, I'm not sure what size the others are, I'll check when I collect the car tonight (it's at the garage)
so if the size of the head is the only difference that won't affect me because it's locking nuts which will have their own key anyway
I may just be able to get the other pre2003 ones anyway.

Ah true yes, I would need a second socket if they were different sizes. I hadnt realised that because our other motor is an old mud plugger in which I just carry a cross brace with different size sockets on, but I dony want to have to start carrying more in the Alfa!

I take your point, there's little point in securing the alloys, they're not in amazing condition and I wouldn't have thought they were worth nicking. So the next question is....does anyone have 4 ordinary wheel nuts for sale?
