156 v6 Auto, put key in and it's now stuck in the stop position cant turn either way, like there is something locking the key in place ???? any ideas ??

gave it a squirt of silicone down the key barrell, no luck.....

thinking of disconnecting the battery, it's like it's locked in place ??? electronics somehow ???

Gonna start pulling the steering cowl off so i can get at the bloody thing...........

tucked away up under the cowl next to the adjustable column lock, in a slot in the plastic is a little red lever, depress and the electronic key unlocks...................
