Hello Forum,

I am having issues with an intermittently working remote keyfob on my 156 1.6TS which resulted in car being towed to auto electrician yesterday. As Sod's Law states then as soon as they looked at it everything worked no problem and concluded I needed a new key.

My question is would this be covered by my Fully Comprehensive Car Insurance to have a replacement key(s)? Should I tell them that it's not working properly or tell them it's lost in order to get the new key?

Any advice please!

Cheers...Alex
