I have had the crankshaft , the camshaft sensor , the timing belt and one of the turbo vacuum pipes change recently.

The warning light was coming on and off when driving and then it started to kangarooing now and then, when i stopped the car it failsed to start until about 5 mins later,

I reset the ECU last night using the disconnect battery method, gave the car a test run last night and car drove great today no warning light or kangarooing, could a old fault which was stored in the ECU from one of the previous issues be causing the problem.

Just also wondering could the timing on the new timing belt be out thus causing a problem

with a bit of luck it might be cleared

Warning light came on today, stopped the car would not start first time .opened up the bonnet gave the vgt soleniod a wee shake and started straight away, drove to work no warning light, checked the vacuum pipe to the vnt and give it a wee futher on to the nipple and no problems the rest of today
Car going into the garage again tomorrow

Hopefully the problem is at the VGT or a poor connection of the vacuum pipe
