Hi, I bought my 156 2.0 JTS almost two months ago and am very pleased with the car so far. However, there is a mysterious fan like noise occurs when the engine is first started. This does not happen when the ignition is switched on, only when the engine is running and does not vary with engine speed. As the engine warms the noise slowly subsides and becomes almost inaudible. The car has covered 23,800 miles and I've just had the full cambelt, variator and water pump job completed by an Alfa specialist. They are mystified as to the cause of the noise. Has anyone any ideas please?
