Hello all,

Just working through a snagging list on my recently-acquired 2000/W 156 V6.

It has a factory radio/cassette (Alpine) installed - but no code.

I gather it's hard to figure out the codes on these units - so I'm considering replacing it with one of the later model CD/radio units.

So a question: are these factory CD/radio units a straight swap for my radio/cassette unit; looking on eBay, they seem to have the same curved top edge of the bezel as my older unit?

Alternatively: can the Alfa dealer network provide the code for the old radio/cassette unit?

Hope someone can help!

cheers,

Jeremy

There is a thread on the top here to get the code.

I'm sure there was a Radio/CD unit option at the time, although most probably had the Radio/Cassette plus the 6-CD Changer in the boot.

Thanks David and Mirlock: I already have the boot changer; and the thread above has yielded a "no can do for that unit" already...

Any thoughts on the other questions?
