Hi there, (and, as this is my first post of 2010, happy new year!)

Quick question: does anyone know where to get a new pair of boot struts for the 156 saloon? They're not available on ebspares or shop4parts. I would prefer OEM, but would be content with a reliable pair.

Thanks,
Bobby

Pm either of the traders, Donald's or Allam's. You'll find them in the traders section.

More Robust Boot Struts

Anybod ever seen a replacement HD boot strut?

My 01 156 saloon has the boot spoiler w/taillight that looks cool, but adds so much weight to the boot lid that I keep having to replace the gas struts about once a year. The snap on ball joint at the end of the strut is plastic and can't take the load from the heavy boot lid. New struts from Alfa are around 35-40 Euro each.

There's quite a few rear spoilers out there, anyone found a beefier strut?
