hello people.

I have a 2003 2.0 jts 156.
The problem i have is the ASR button doesn't work. I have checked what i can with a multimeter and all seems well. Ie there is power going to the switch and the switch seems to work. but when i press the button nothing happens. The light doesn't light up to say its been turned off nor does the dash light up. The ASR/VDC seems to work when i try to do a wheel spin for example the little light flash's to say its working..
Can anybody help me im stuck and don't rely know what to look for.

well at first i did think the switch was naff so i got hold of a used replacement and that didn't work either. Am i right in thinking that when you start the car you can just push the button and it will turn off and a warning light/message comes on? because that doesn't happen. Nope the led does not light up.

just thought i would let you know that i have moved a wire on the plug that goes in to the back o the switch. it as a blue and yellow wire witch i moved to pin 4 and now the led lights up when i press the button. if it turns of the ASR i could not tell you as i haven't took it out or a proper test drive yet. but its more then it was doing.
