My 156 has started unlocking itself and the alarm goes off when this happens,it only seems to happen when ive left the car without using it for 3 or more days.Any ideas what this problem might be guys?
Also can somebody tell me pls when I lock the car with the keys and not the fob does this disable the alarm?
I really need to stop the alarm going off and the car unlocking itself temporary until I can get the issue sorted.

Get car battery checked as alarm monitors voltage drop.
Yes you can disable the alarm sound with the key but i cant remember the way to do it , its a google search or i think its im the manual which i will look up at the weekend when im with my car if not sorted by then

Thanks for the reply, I dont want to disable the alarm with the key fob but wondered if I lock the car manually with the key does this lock the car without
The alarm armed?

If you lock the car using the key in the lock it does not set the alarm.
