Does any one know how difficult it is to remove/replace the gearbox on a 156 20v and as mine has now done 137000 miles on its original clutch am I correct to assume its not if my Alfa will need a clutch but WHEN.Any advice much appreciated. Is a clutch job more difficult than a 10v?

It's a days work for a good technician on a 2 post ramp :) would recommend a flywheel too as for the 20v not so expensive and they can without warning start to rattle

Much more difficult, I don't know much about a none DMF on this engine but it is a Vaxuhall set up and I understand the Police have a none DMF set up in their pursuit cars
