Have had a problem over the last couple of weeks that I first thought was a tyre balance problem because it happened between around 45 - 50 mph when I felt a real 'shake'. However after a series of balancing and wheel swapping I realised it was an engine problem. Any idea of what the problem and solution solution could be?

I shall try a manual reset to see if that sorts it, but other than that I'm stumped.

How do you no it is enjin related.because I have the same issue with my car?

I don't know - it's an educated guess. I ruled out wheel inbalance which I thought it was after a recent tyre fit. i did that by having the wheel in question rebalanced and then swopped back to front. Just to make sure I'll have the other front wheel checked tomorrow. My gut feeling is that it's a fueling problem perhaps caused through the ICU - I'll ask a diesel specialists.

Finally able to solve the vibrations after ruling wheel balance problems out. Diagnostics picked up EGR valve fault, so had that checked, cleaned annd freed off as it was solid with residue. No difference, so performed a manual ECU reset and now all is better.

I was going to suggest looking at the driveshafts as if you have an inner CV with play in it, then this can show up as a vibration when you are accelerating. But glad you got to the bottom of it.

Had the car up on a ramp and checked for play on driveshafts, wishbones etc.
