Just had my 156,000 mile service at Benfield Alfa with only one advisory.........a wiper blade!

There can't be many 8 year old cars around that do 20,000 miles a year and only need a wiper blade!

Great service from again from Steve the Alfa technician, Kevin, Dax and Gavin who lent me his GT for the day.

Car came back spotless and the bill was pleasantly affordable too!!!!

Thumbs up again for our local dealer!

Great to hear about good service! It speaks volumes for a dealer when they get that right!

So at 156k is she still running sweet?

To be honest it's never run better.......just had some Pirelli P Zero Neros fitted, belts and variator replaced and it's spot on.......have to say though I put a lot of it down to Steve at Benfield who has looked after my Alfa from day one although it did go **** up for a while when he left (he's back now) and I tried out an independant!

I thought it was cool for a small car, although I wasn't convinced about the quality.
It had only done 4000 miles and it had dents all over it.
The drivers door dropped when it opened and how the hell do you operate the petrol cap. lol.
All small things that would undoubtably have been sorted on a private car.
All in all it was a good experience.....but my TI is awesome, no better car for me at the mo.

I hated the GT, don't need a big car anymore but quite like the 159 SW, the Mito is a perfect size for me now but hate those 'Disney' headlights!

How long have you got??????

You have to climb in over the seat bolsters.
You can't reach the seat belt without a struggle.
The arm rest covers the handbrake.
The rear vision is terrible as is peripheral vision.
I found the seats really uncomfortable.
I thought it was quite claustrophobic.
And the wiper arms look like a vandal had bent them!

Etc etc etc.

I wouldn't swap my 156 SW for one!

Actually...quite a few of those apply to the 3 door MiTo too.
Easily forgiving and easy to get used too once you've driving it though.
The DNA switch works great.
The one I had was the 120 bhp diesel too, not the 155bhp turbo'd benzina
