Dear all, I's been many years since I posted last time. Finally got my hands on one of my absolute dream cars, a 92MY 155 Q4 with waterspray. Yay!
Car doesn't look too god, but I'm breaking my old 155 for spares so the plan is to get it up and running and in mint condition in a year or so. Gotta take care of those, not many around anymore.
So even before starting her up, I want to do the cambelt, it hasn't been done for like 10 years or so. Anyway, I'm working my way in, removing covers, belts, the lot. The balance belt have been removed plus the car has a chip. So far, all good. Until I get to the crankshaft pulley for the balance wheel. I just can't get it off. I've tried extension wrench, heat, implact wrench (but with a small compressor) without getting it off. I'm starting to think the bolt might be links? I don't know.
I've been batteling with this bolt for 2 days now and I just can't get it off. Does anybody have any good ideas? A picture is attached for you guys to see which one I'm dealing with. It's a 22mm nut holding the pulley for the balance belt and also for accessing the cambelt.
Thanks,
