Hi all, recently got myself a nice 155 sport... Normally when you get a different car you notice others on the road, but for nearly a month now I have not seen another 155...
Is this a rare car now?

Welcome to AO, I can't remember ever seeing a 155 on the roads (around Derry). You need to post pics of the 155 and the 3200 :D

Thankyou! You are welcome... If you come across any 155s let me know, just interested, as I originally wanted a 75 but they are even rarer!

You probably won't believe this but I will be looking for a 3200 in a few years time (I'm 21 and insurance is rediculous, just over £2400 for my 156 ) and I'm on the lookout for a 155 or 75 as a "restoration" project and long term keeper.

Yes insurance is an issue... But may get cheaper when they fall in to classic car catchment...!

The 155 seems like a really good car so far... I had a mkII golf Gti before it and the 155 is a better driving car than it, even with 95k on it, but it has a full history! Good luck with finding a 75.. I reckon you'll need to go across the water... seems to be a few there, in various states! They are meant to be a great driving car, I wanted one when I was your age!!! But ended up with Uno Turbos... Nice to meet a like minded person here!

Yeah, I'm planning to go across the water in the summer to find something, if it's not a 155/ 75 it will be a sierra cosworth/ mk2 escort.

Is that the 155 from ballymena? I took a look at it before Christmas. Good car for the money....enjoy it.

I had a red 155 16v a few years back. Drove great, but i love the smell and comfort of my leather armchair 166!

+1 on this. A few 155s for sale down here, but 75s are like hen's teeth.

What engine is in your 155?

Hi allan, love your cars and would love to hear your views on the 3200 as I have always had a yearning for one,but the running costs frighten me! Would you be interested in joining the N.I.Italian Motor Club?we meet on the first Tuesday of each month at the Prima Gusto deli at Hillsborough. You will find a lot of enthusiastic Italian car owners there!Next meeting is tomorrow(Tuesday 2nd Feb) at around 7:45.We did have a 3200 in our ranks for a while, but it has since been sold, would love to see another!Dave:cool:See niimc.net

Hi Dave... Thanks for the invite for tomorrow night, I cant make it, 60th Birthday, but would like to come to the next one, will it be in the same place in March? Is it a Bar? As for the running costs I am only 3 months into the ownership but it seemed to have been looked after before me plus I like to do a bit on it myself, I reckon at 10 years old it should not affect value too much! Cant believe how much car I got for the money with the Alfa though! Will also look into joining the club,
Thanks hope to keep in touch!

Yes... I have the number on pistonheads, as I thought the same! I had a few inquiries but all from people who want to put it on pre 95 nissans, apparently looks like NISMO too...!
