Can someone please clarify for me, do UK 147's have a smaller left (passenger) side wing mirror housing while LHD cars have a smaller right side? In Oz we got the bigger size on both sides and I'm thinking that getting both the smaller types would make a svelte new look :biglaugh:

Aus 156 got bigger driver door mirror.
Same applies to 147 & GT.

So if your left & right mirrors are the same size, then it isn't Aus spec and already has the smaller mirrors.

Ah, so the UK cars have the smaller ones on both sides? I haven't noticed any difference between mine, it is an early one probly from the first shipment to Oz so maybe they hadn't changed the drivers side one yet.

ONLY Aus got the bigger driver side mirror. Think it is a requirement over there. The 156 had it, so can't see how they could do the 147 without. Could it be an import from Japan?

Every other market got the same size on both sides.

Def locally delivered, has the ATECO plate on it (Oz importer at the time) The reason I'm asking is because I want to get mirror covers from Alfisti.com but the product blurb says not suitable for Australia and Malaysia as they must be the same size both sides. Get my car back tomorrow from repairer :biglaugh: so will have a closer look
