Hi all,

Just wondering what standard stereos there were in the 01 - 03ish reg 147s...

Bose, CD head unit, Cassette head unit...

Was there any others that had i-pod/mp3 ext. sockets???

I see some people advertising theirs with an i-pod connection, would that just be an after market add on???

Thanks

there are no front auxiliary terminals. any iPod/auxiliary connection would be via the CD changer terminal at the rear, which can be utilised for iPod/auxiliary instead, or with products like a Dension Gateway, the terminal can be shared by both a CD changer and alternative source.

okie dokie...

So its a case of taking out the head unit and switching the multi-changer aux for an i-pod, or finding something to split it into 2?

yes, i believe so. there are reports that later model headunits (not applicable in your situation) are not always compatible with iPod/auxiliary cables. but an '01-'03 series 1 should be ok, i figure.
