Hi guys the tip of the backbox on my q2 is loose and is causing a rather annoying sound that resonates through the low revs.

Not sure if there is a way to weld it back on tight or if exhaust gum would fix it?

If you've got access to a welder then you could just put a few tacks on it, that'd hold it.

thats what i was thinking, not sure i will have access though. Wasn't sure if any kind of exhaust gum would cure it.

A local garage shouldn't charge much to weld it back into place.

Just a quick point, are you sure it's the backbox and not the exhaust heat shield?
