Hi guys.
Anyone know where the gearbox filler plug is on a 1.9 JTDm with a Q2 diff?
The reverse light switch is on the top, near the gear-change mechanism if that helps.
I've read about a dipstick but can't see one.
Doesn't seem to be where it was on my old 1.6TS.
Thanks.

you fill it via the dipstick, which is located at the back of the diff/gear box.

best to put it in using a long tube & a 1/2L bottle feeding the oil into the tube. Let it gravity feed. Holds 2 litres

I top it up via the reverse light switch hole - take out battey, remove battery tray, unscew reverse light sensor and then pour in 2 litres of gearbox oil.

Thanks guys: found the dipstick but didn't have a tube to reach it! Poured in through reversing switch hole as suggested by Lacken156: just need to do it slowly.
