hi all.
has anyone got a 156 2.4 jtd, preferably a sportwagon, that they want to downsize to a 147jtd?
could do with a bigger car to use as a towcar and always liked the 156's i've had before.
mine is an '04 16V lusso with about 135k on the clock, mot until about auagust next year, taxed 'til about june next year.
no issues, a fair share of carpark dings so no minter.

anything considered, not worried by mileage

anyone want a swap, cash either way?

2.4 jtd 02 face lift interior saloon with 110k on clock ......silver + leather lusso spec with koni adjustable kit
hmn.
i do like silver cars especially in the 156 saloon, shame it's not a SW, although leather i'm not too keen on especially if it's red leather which a lot of silver cars tend to have?

koni adjustables, how's the ride? from previous experience with the 2.4's they tend to float a lot on the front end, never did get around to upgrading the shocks, does it help with that? harsh ride? not too low?

wouldn't mind seeing some pics if you have any to hand but tbh i'd be wanting a few quid my way. would take a hit for an SW but not so much for the saloon, i need the load space.

someone save me from buying a fiat scudo

does look a nice one dave, what's the overall condition?

bearing in mind mine is by no means a minter, has a fair few car park dings down the vulnerable sides and the odd birdpoo mark on the bonnet so i'm not after top dollar for mine

black leather is best one too.....

All the stuff I want to do to mine basically... Once I'm back on full time hours I'll splash a few quid on an exhaust system and remap. How much is that work approx? That's a year away I reckon because the insurance man is desperate to void my cover for 'engine mods', so probably I'll find one who is less of a wuss first.

I have a NIN cd in my Alfa ;p

Second City Cars in Birmingham specialise in Alfas and have a 20v SW with 85k in for £4500 and might part ex you. I got my car from there and the guys are A1. No pics of this one yet so it must be new stock.

looks a tidy car dave

do like a silver one too.

thinking about it this afternoon though and you hit the nail on the head earlier on, i really ought to get a sportwagon as it will be a towcar for my sud track day car when it's done in the new year.
had 156 saloons before and while the boot isn't bad it doesn't offer what an SW can do

real nice car though, you look after it well

autobotvanguard, NIN are good aren't they ;)
