Hi all,

My father in law's 147 has an indicator problem. recently he was without indicators and hasards however when opening and locking the car the all flashed as ususal.

this morning the car would not start due to a flat battery so we jumped started the car and in the italian way the indicators now work fine.

my question is, was it the fault that flattened the battery and how long will the indicators last for?

any one had this experience?

i had a flat battery the other day and the on board computer turns things off to save power. i.e headlights, indicators, stereo, etc. i would check the voltage on the battery while the engine is running to see if you've got a fault with the alternator. as mine has gone and it's now in the garage getting replaced.

Could be an indication that the "body computer" is on its way out, or possibly just a bad connection in one of the multiplugs on the body computer or fusebox. Tha body computer is the flat grey box attached to the rear of the fusebox.
