Hi folks,
I am right in thinking you need to remove the rear bumper to get the back box off a 147?

And if so anyone got any tips or tricks/location of hidden and difficult fixings)

I've not got a 147 but I 100% sure you don't have to remove the bumper to get it off as it will just be sat on rubber hangers.

Agreed - why on earth would you need to remove the rear bumper?

it's just 2 rubber mounts and a exhaust clamp to remove the rear back box off, no need to remove the rear bumper.

I had it off the pipe and the hangers but coupldnt get it free of the car.
so if you jack it up high enough there's enough clearance presumably....was being lazy and couldn't be arsed to get the jack out ;-)

it should clear once you jack it up as it will need to come out at an angle due the exhaust going above the rear sub frame.

got it off finally!!!

Which is more than the knuckle-draggers at Indespension managed.

Now to fit the tow bar..... for a bike rack ONLY!!

Ah - surely you'll need to remove the rear bumper to fit a towbar?

not this one surprisingly. needed a bit of a cut out to the bumper right underneath where you cant see it anyway...and all sorted now.
