Anyone out there know how to open the doors on a 147 that has a flat battery? The doors are locked and do not unlock with the turn of the key. The 'zapper' in the key still works but there is obviously not enough power in the battery to pop the locks.

The locks should still operate without battery power by turning the key - although the lock will be stiffer to turn. I've locked and unlocked plenty of cars with dead batteries with no issues.......

This happend to me once, although i was still able to manualy unlock the door with the key, i could still use the boot release button (prob required less power than the door locks)

Thanks, chaps, I'll go and have another manual go with the key - it is possible that the key operation is stiff through lack of use.
