Hi everyone, the computer display unit between the speedo and rev counter is so dim I can't read it. Just spent a merry half hour wrestling the instrument cluster out of the car and putting a replacement screen from a donor car in but still dim. Hmmm frustrating. The trip computer buttons work ok and adjusts the mileometer brightness okay but not the central display.
Unless I've been unlucky and the donor part is also duff, what else can be stopping the display from being brighter?
I could swap the entire instrument cluster with the donor one but I've read thats gonna mess up my mileage reading.

I thought there was a setting to make it brighter and dimmer. Scroll through the menu's - there are different options when the engine is on and off.
