I looked at the manual and it says that the colour code should be on the tailgate edge. I had a look and it looks like somebody has removed it (3 previous owners).

Question is, how do I find out the colour code now that its gone?

I was hoping someone with a red 147 2008 collezione can have a look for me, as I believe all of them came in the same shade of red.

If it's the standard Alfa Red it's PROBABLY Alfa Red 289. (Not sure if there should be a letter after that e.g. 289/B, that might have been a revision later)

If it is anything like the Rosso Alfa on my 2006 147 (code 130 B/B) then it is worth going to a paint specialist if you want it to match. Evidently there are many different shades of this red. My local paint supplier politely declined to mix me the paint without having the petrol flap to be able to match to, the towing eye cover was too small for them to be happy they could get a match from.
