Hi,

As everybody knows, the flywheel on the 147 1.9 JTD mjet has problems to cope with torque (higher that 380nm) around 1750-2500rpms.

The other day, I've tried 450Nm on a 159 1.9 JTDm and there is hardly any problems.

Does anyone know if the 159's flywheel is plug-n-play on the 147?

Thanks,

Luis

It either is the same(if you have a later 147) or it doesn't fit afaik.
I carried out the same research but for the 5cyl versions and 159's 200bhp 20V flywheel turned out 4.5kg heavier than the one on the 156 20V....and it didn't fit.

Ups!, I have one of the first mjets (2003) ...

Too bad ..., I was really hoping it would be the same DMF ...

4.5K heavier?!, what kind of torque can you pull out of the 20v with no vibration from the flywheel?
