Hi all,

I am really at a loss as to whats up with the old thing.Steering wobble is problem.

Wheels have been balanced, new track rod ends, new lower suspension arms and shocks, no disernable play at all, does not pull left or right on breaking, and no noises from suspension. It handles better than ever.
Problem lessens on motorway.
Constant velocity joints???

I had similar wobble on my 156 20V - steered straight, handled great but had nightmare steering wheel vibration at some speeds. Local dealer changed the driove shafts under warranty and its sweet again now.

Thats about the only thing you havnt swapped isnt it?

Mozza.. My wheels are alloys. I cannot see any damage but apparently sometimes tyres can get uneven wear and despite balancing they still wobble

Hi there Hazyblue,
The tyres are good Continental rubber at correct pressures and matching, but maybe that is a good idea thank you. If not this it must be driveshafts...surely???
