I need to find a 12v permanent feed behind the consul in a face lift 156, any ideas.

Yeah i'd use the head unit power as there is one 12v permanently live and 12v ignition (orange one).

Depends how much current its drawing i suppose?

I don't think there's even a switched 12v on the facelift/147/159 HU.

I thought it was permanent 12V only, with switching via the CANBus.

Well this is on a 156 ... which doesn't have can bus .. therefore there is switched 12v ...


... how about the power used to drive the clock ;)
