The computer is optimistic...to say the least. The only accurate way to measure mpg is to fill your tank, run it for however long, fill it up again and do the sums.

All the best

which remap /what company did you use?

I'm thinking of it for my GT - wondering if clutch etc holds up to the 190bhp Angel tuning advertise?

Angel tuning, the remap result is achieved with clutch in mind. So the power delivery is linear, no spikes. Really use able torque higher up. I like to drive my cars but am careful how and when i bring the power in. Just be sensible. Its transformed my GT, the engine sounds a lot better and seems to be loosening up! sounds a crazy statement, but its true she has just over 80k.

i did a trip to northumberland and back and got averges of 61mpg and just got 60 to wales and back, i am running with a tuning box on though and deffinatly know its doing more mpg with it and if u do a rough calc saying that 3 gallons is 20 that will give u range of 180 miles then the sums add up with what fuel i put in and the miles covered

This is as good as I've ever achieved, a trip earlier on in the year from Kent to Cornwall. I could have done better if I really tried though ;)

I don't reckon the trip computer overstates by much - as B4UNOIT says I think it's by around 1mpg at most. I use Fuelly to measure what I'm getting - I typically get around 31.5mpg from my JTS GT when calculating based on miles covered and fuel added, whereas the GT's computer says I'm getting 32.0 mpg. Woeful figures compared to your 60 mpg!
