Hello,

Calling on someone to help with a noise diagnosis. The last couple of weeks I have this strange noise coming from my engine particularly when the engine is cold.

Its like a ticking woosh, I took a quick video here:

Anyone got any ideas?

Cars on 56,000 miles and is shortly due a service.

Alternator belt?

I was thinking it sounded belt/pulley related, however it had the Auxiliary belt done a year or so ago.

It is due a Cambelt change now its 5 years old. Will get the garage to take a look when it goes in, just wondered if anyone had experienced that same noise.
