Hi,
I'm sure this may have been asked before, but can't find the thread! Just bought a 2011 plate and start stop sensor continually an issue. Garage see no faults other than looks like original Fiat/Alfa battery. So I've ordered a new one. As far as I can see the radio may not need re-coding when I change the battery, however with the car was the original audio system passport which does show a 4 digit code. Does anyone have any expertise in this area before I go and change the battery and find this code doesn't work or anything else that may crop up?

Use a memory saver across the battery connections whilst changing the battery over. All you need is an old battery with wires +ve to +ve and -ve to -ve. Once new battery is connected remove the battery saver.
