Yes been on eBay for a while and a couple of threads on here,Has this not been on before?
That comment is ridiculous., and it's only a TS? That's ridiculous.
Bit of an assumption that I'm 'looking down' on twinnies there. It's a smaller, slower engine. That comment is ridiculous.
What is it about the V6 that makes owners look down on the Twinnie? Makes no sense.
Yes that's what I was trying to say, for 12k I'd want a bit more than a 10+ year old 2.0 TS. Seems to have hit a nerve though...As for it being a TS, there is nothing wrong with that as such it is just the V6 is better.![]()
But it's the smaller engined cars that are selling, not gas guzzling V6's V8's etc. A better engine maybe, but that doesn't make it more saleable. It's a smaller, slower engine.

Plus bloody one!If it's been prepped properly, it's worth every penny. It's practically a new car.
Yes I agree, in my opinion that is true to a certain price range but for 12k at that age and engine I think the price is too high. But it's the smaller engined cars that are selling, not gas guzzling V6's V8's etc. A better engine maybe, but that doesn't make it more saleable.
Think you're slightly missing the point. If our cars are destined to become classics then it's the examples like this that will lead the way. Age and to a lesser extent, engine, are irrelevant - its condition will sell it.Yes I agree, in my opinion that is true to a certain price range but for 12k at that age and engine I think the price is too high.
And if it hasn't?It's probably one of only a handful of 916s to have done little more than delivery miles and is in showroom condition. I would expect a car that's been kept in this condition aesthetically probably has an owner that's able to lavish money on it - I bet it's got a detailed history.
Bit harsh when you don't know why it hasn't been driven.......Whats amazing to me is someone buying this from new and never drives it. That's only 316 miles a year. If he wants something to look at, buy a painting.
Well if the is a reason why its not been driven, why 12 years to sell?Bit harsh when you don't know why it hasn't been driven.......
