  1. Yippee!!!

    Alfa GTV & 916 Spider
My cheap little V6 got through its MoT on second sitting with very little cost. £150 to do all the brake hoses, new CV joints and boots, windscreen washer hose repair, and rear tyres. The airbag light came on but the MOT guy was aware of the problem as it went on and off while he was testing it...
  2. Yippee! Now Have Self Cancelling Indicators

    Alfa GTV & 916 Spider
As the title says, finally got round to fixing my non cancelling indicators. I had found that the stalk assembly was detached from the steering column. Reattached the stalk, steering wheel back on, and hey presto. Just one word of caution just make sure the 2 drive spigots of the clockspring...

    Alfa 159, Brera & 946 Spider
Just had my dpf, egr remap done at Motormech today and drove it back from Brum. I must admit, I was expecting a bit more, but pehaps that is just me. 6. Got my new 166 - yippee!

    Alfa 164 & 166
Well, I got my hands on my new 166 this weekend - yippee! The car is a 2001/Y 3.0 Sportronic in grey with CD changer, sat nav, and sunroof. It's a high miler (108k) but seems to have been looked after - only two owners, the first took it to 104k by end 2006; the second barely drove it in the...
  7. Yippee

    Alfa 147, 156 & GT
Hi all just had my 156 back from its mot (3rd time of asking) and it passed. Turns out that the aftermarket lambda sensor and airflow meter were not worth the box they arrived in. Genuine parts fitted and the emissions dropped from 10% to 0.03. Skint but made up!!!
  8. Collected my 156 Yesterday, Yippee!!!

    Introduce Yourself
Hi all, I made my choice after 3 years in the making! My shortlist included a BMW 728, BMW 523, Honda Accord, Saab 95, Mondeo Ghia X and of course Alfa Romeo 156. I was scouring the Autotrader website for my dad and came across a black, 51 Reg, 2.0 TS Veloce with Natural Leather. It was love...
