I've just ordered a roll of vvivid matte metallic navy blue(ghost) to wrap my car. Was just wondering if anyone has used this or used any vvivid wrap before how easy it is to work with? Did they have any problems repositioning it?
Spray On Plastic Wrap
It is cheaper than a respray. IN the video it peels right off.
Has anyone seen this before? Are there other products similar to this or can someone hear read Japanese for us?
Also has anyone hear had experience with this type of product. If so, has it been good or bad...
Thinking of wrapping my centre console with carbon 3m vinyl. Has anyone done similar (with some pictures) and can recommend a reputable supplier for the vinyl? I know there's loads on eBay but have heard some are sub-standard at best.
This will take a while, and will develop as it gets done.
Today. Phase one.
Remove rear spoiler.
Unbolt the 3 10mm head bolts on each side if the rear hatch.
Remove the upper and lower plastic trims inside the hatch lid. There are 8 Allen head screws in the lower half, 4 easily...
The roof on my car is in need of a respray, especially the rear spoiler.
However, I'm broke, so can't throw the money at it.
I have been wondering about wrapping the roof in gloss black vinyl. The full roof, and the rear spoiler.
Now I know this is a bit marmite, but does anyone know of a...
I've got the chipped and peeling paint issue on the bonnet. I was wondering whether a more sensible solution would be to get the bonnet wrapped instead of resprayed as a wrap wouldn't be so prone to chipping and peeling and it could be carried out a lot faster. It's my every day car so leaving...
Car is currently being wrapped matte black, (from anthracite grey) sparco seats fitted, pictures to follow.
The car has already had the roof, wing mirrors and grille wrapped in carbon.
The company doing the work is Wrap kings in the west midlands and have just done a nice Maserati gran turismo s...
Is there such a thing as a see-thru' Wrap? I'm thinking of something like window tint film.. (maybe the answer is window tint film?)
I just had a hypothetical thought (as you do) about how you could colour-code the sunroof on a blue car, for instance.. if you wanted to lose the black/dark...
I've been playing about with my 156 front rad grilles. Using some shiny carbon effect vinyl I managed this.
Before and after.
I think it looks more interesting than the original one (left) but is it just a bit too close to putting a big wing on a Corsa?

Thought id put a few pics up, done by wrap kings in cradley heath.Roof has been wrapped, in matte carbon, saw the sadly not built GTA version and decided to copy the front.
I will be getting the sills done but only the very bottom part and follow the contours, im aware this might not be to...
well, on day 3 of 159 ownership I decided that the dash was a bit too scratched and needed some attention, so set about with my carbon film.
I've not had much success with wrapping in the passed but I have recently discovered my wife's old hair dryer - its like magic in a Nicky Clarke can...
New to the forum and alfa ownership, as title very tempted to wrap roof, leaning towards white carbon?
What you guys reckon? Anyone good on photoshop; )
I've got a black 159 and I'm considering having the wing mirrors wrapped in a carbon fibre wrap. I've got the anthracite Ti wheels and I think the grey of the carbon fibre would look good with these. Also, I'm considering having the door handles done the same. I've never liked how they're silver...
A previous owner had painted my wing mirrors satin black, but done a really bad job. Paint was all wrinkly and flaky etc etc.
So rather than redo the painting, I decided it would be cheaper and easier to vinyl wrap them with carbon fibre stylee stuff.
Last summer I vinyl wrapped the bits of door on my 156 that had originally been wrapped in vinyl from the factory. The stuff I used was 3M carbon vinyl and it looks fab. Over the winter the wrap around bit on the front doors has started to peel away. It appears the new vinyl has pulled the old...
I am considering fitting carbon fibre wrap / sunroof vinyl on the Guili. I want that panoramic sunroof effect. I've been told that the 3m is the best quality.
What's your input? Have any of you had this done?
I am planning to vinyl wrap my roof and wing mirrors, to make a cleaner job I was wondering if anyone had tried or had experience of removing the aerial and its base and the parallel running "roof rack" black plastic panels on the roof?
Also what is the best way to remove the wing mirror...
