I'm talking to a dealer at the moment and they only have demonstrators to sell.
Would you still consider this a new car ?
I presume the demonstrators are registered to the dealer so not technically new cars as such. Not to mentions they've been 'driven' a bit so clearly not the same as a...
In the menu on the sat nav you can choose three different map views (north, direction of travel or 3d birds eye) but they all appear to be the same. Am I missing something?
Also, can you turn off the next turn/compass but retain the time/temp/radio station? When you go full screen map you...
I've just seen a 1982 red Gtv 2.5 advertised in Durban for 35K. Recently resprayed, has 3 litre bonnet and rims (black).
Not much info on mechanicals.
What are your guys' views on this particular model?
Has anyone used the Cloverleaf Services indie in Gloucester? Any views on them?
I live in Cheltenham and up until now I've been using NJS in Pershore for all my servicing and work as they've done a good job and I found them through several recommendations on here - but it'd be nice not to have...
Castrol edge 5w-30 ACEA C3 vs normal selenia 5w-30 ACEA C2
Spec in the manual is C2 so in theory the castrol should be better. What do you guys think? C3 might mean some 2% increase in consumption but i'm more interested in engine life than negligible fuel efficiency improvements.
Well myself and Brian decided we would go out for a drive to try and find a New summer venue for our monthly meet hoping to find somewhere central to all off Lancashire with easy Motorway access from all areas, and i think we found the place The Boat Yard Inn, Riley Green, Preston just off the...
We all know the GTV is a great car but is the Cup a future classic car because of limited numbers?
They are already highly sort after. Like the "normal" V6 cars.
I'm interested in other views on the subject.
The Alfa Romeo 4C certainly ticks a few of the key boxes. As I write this, TG.com's test car is parping and popping lustily up and down a sinuous road in the glorious Aosta valley. This is where much of The Italian Job was shot, and the 4C is a very Italian job indeed.
So, it looks fantastic, a...
I know I said I was retiring my 156 V6 after an enjoyable winter, but its still sitting here and looking bright and shiny and...well I miss it! Yes I know, you have heard it all before! And I said I would never be seen dead with an Alfa, and now I dont want to see it go... Could it...
So my heater stopped working, checked coolant - empty
Engine bay covered.
Filled up and found leak. About to get price but any views, rough prices so I can compare to the shop quote ?
It's the front metal pipe that joins to the rubber hoses for the coolant at the front of the engine. Has two...
So i found this on auto trader, went to see it today, going to test drive it tomorrow...
has one owner from new, well specced (OEM xenons, tri-zone climate control, front parking sensors), got a small dent/scratch on rear left flank. everything works. quiet tick-over, has a pre-heat fault...
Driving over a mountain pass near Lugano, we stopped for a bite and noticed a 1.8TS Phase 1 GTV on an Italian plate in the car park. Naturally we got talking to the guys and these are some of their thoughts I thought you might be interested in.
- The 916 is seen in Italy as one of the last...
Just saw the perfect private plate for my GTV - trying to decide if it's worth the money or whether to spend the same money actually on the car  e.g. sports cat, brake upgrade etc.
What are your views on private registrations - are they cool or give the wrong impression??
I'm selling my Brera (edit: but given the seeming value of it, this seems less attractive than it did) and current high-miles 156 saloon to consolidate them both into a low(ish) mileage 156 estate. I've attached a picture of one that's caught my eye.
I am aiming for the 1.9 JTDM and...
I'm based in Kingston upon Thames and need my 159 1.9jtdm serviced. There is a dearth of indepependent Alfa garages in this area and any visit to a garage involes a round trip of 80 plus miles
Has anyone tried Deens, I have only seen one thread in AO. Any help would be appreciated.
Currently drive a '03 156 2.0. This is my second 156 over a 4yr period so I think I've come to know them reasonably well, especially when it comes to their common issues.
Thinking of trading her in on a 2006 159 2.2 JTS (still need to do all my sums).
I'm hoping there are guys here...
