The Stelvio is safer for the children but 0.1 lower for front occupants. Safer for pedestrians. The Giulia is on the top of page and the Stelvio below.
What are the experinces for replacing the original lower front wishbone rubbers by Powerflex?
Is it worth the extra money and what is the advantage, and possible disadvantage? The original ones are to be replaced and I'm looking for input and advice. In general I'm aiming to keep my 147 GTA as...
Hello,
I've just returned from test driving both a guilia veloce and a 124 abarth. My pcp on the Guilietta qv is up shortly. Which should I buy? I'm an alfa man normally but there is no spider I m the range currently. In terms of excitement, the abarth wins, might also be cheaper to run as well...
Every single video I watch on youtube of the 4c it sounds great, especially when it is driving down built up streets or tunnels. Why doesn't the Veloce/QV sound as good as this? It is after all the same engine, so I guess it's all down to the exhaust?
The sound isn't like a noisy boy racer...
Hi all,
After an eternity, managed to reset my account…So hi again!
I have already had a GTV 3.0 v6 24v which I loved, and now thinking of a Spider. I now live on the continent I see many 3.0 v6 (12 valve 192 hp/5 speed) examples and wonder if I would ‘miss’ anything compared to the 24v...
So santa bought me a new sat nav and I thought it was an opportune moment to reflect on the differences between Blue & Me & Uconnect. Just for the record, I had a Blue & Me unit, then went to a built in Uconnect (non live) and now because I've bought a series 0 giulietta I'm back on Blue & me...
Hi guys, both these specialists are within easy reach from me. I need a Cambelt changed on a 156jtd and wondered which one of the above you would recommend going to ? Their prices are about the same and I've heard good things about both garages. Would welcome your thoughts and experiences.
This is a brief comparison of my Brera with my 2 week old GQV, bearing in mind the Brera was 9years old (only 53k miles though) and had tired suspension (but new front wishbones).
Comments are not in any particular order of importance.
Brera :
Pros - Looks, sounds, ride comfort, equipment...
Filled up at my local Asda today.........£1.14.7 per litre for diesel.......same price as petrol! Another local garage had both at the same price of £1.16.9...... but most are still charging 2-3p per litre more for diesel than petrol....
I've read that wholesale prices for diesel are below...
Hi all, had my 2015 1.6 Jtdm in today for a 24,000 miles service ( oil and filter change) and whilst chatting with the staff when I went back to collect it discovered they have used 5 30 oil rather than the 0 30 stated in the user manual, seems when they did the 12,000 miles change they used the...
Hi there,
Considering buying a OzbDlink direct seeing how they have reduced their price for the SX version. Cheaper than some other sites, or ebay: old stocks?
While it comes with basic software, what are Alfisti using and their pro and cons: MES or Alfa OBD?
I'm getting annoyed with the constant cracking of my 18 inch Jet fin alloys and am considering purchasing a set of Blackline Alloys. Can anyone tell me if these are any less susceptible to cracking? Or will I just end up with the same issues?
As we have a 2.0 diesel loan car at the moment , I suggested my wife used the loaner this morning . She came back and said " it's much heavier than yours and not as responsive" .
I did not tell her return with a report or the fact that despite being the same colour it is Diesel and not petrol.

Hi Guy's,
I know this subject is a bit of "an old chestnut" but if I inflate my tyres(205/50/16) to the Alfa recommended settings (39f/36r) the handling improves but the ride quality becomes "crashy" and a touch to hard for me. Front wishbones just replaced, so could it be the...
Alfa Romeo 4C und Porsche Cayman S im Test: Radikal leicht trifft radikal dynamisch - AUTO MOTOR UND SPORT
The pictures look familiar.
Translation anybody ?
I have just booked my 11 plate Giulietta into Piccadilly Alfa, Knaresborough for an oil and filter change at a cost of £97.13. I budgeted nearly £21 for the 130 mile round trip from home so a total cost of £118.
Why have I gone to the main dealer I hear you ask. However I also got four quotes...
