Nipped under my Giulietta this evening to measure the bore of the exhaust. Whist under there I noticed what appears to be a messy application of underseal on the chassis. Is this how they generally leave the factory?

Planning on getting this done to my 159 Sportwagon subframes - probably at Autolusso. Before they do their Waxolyling thing, I want some Bilt Hamber Hydrate 80 on it first. Anyone know how much would be needed to cover front and rear subframes? It comes in 500ml 1ltr or 5ltr cans. Any thoughts...

i seem to be getting somewhat a expert at 147 rust :lol: so, this will effect most 147's id say when they are about 7-8 years old and obviously older ones worse they may be! this also effects the gtv/spider/156 in the same way so here is what it looks like on the underside...

I'm looking to underseal my car now before it's painted. Which underseal offers the best protection, the spray on version or brush on version with added waxoyl? There is no rust on the floorpan atm and I'm not bothered about having to remove any parts to use either version.
