I’ve had my 2017 QV for a month now. It came with 15000km on the clock. I noticed it has Toyo Proxes T1R’s on the back and Michelin Pilot Sport’s on the front - all with plenty of meat - can’t have been on long. I presume the Pirelli P-Zero Corsa’s got chewed up. The current ones seem fine for...

Hi all. Greetings from Cape Town. I run a 916 GTV 3.0 with all the expected upgrades. I track the car regularly. The car has Toyo Proxe semi-slicks on OZ Racing Boticellis with custom10mm spacers front and back. Photos attached. I have been running 235\40\17 Toyo R8R on rim size 8J x 17 H2...

Hello, I put four new Toyo T1 sport tyres on my 156 1.9 16v last year, the fronts have worn to the indicators in approx 9,000 miles. The rears have loads of tread left. Is this high wear on the fronts normal on these cars or is it the Toyo tyres? The tracking has been done recently, wear is even...

Hi guys, has anybody got any tyres they recommend for their 147 for under £80? I'm about to buy the Toyo Proxes T1R but before buying was wondering if you guys think there are any other better options. Also, has anybody got any experience with buying part worn tyres ? Would you recommend this ?

I will never ever fit these to a GTA. I advise you all to stay away from them. They cannot cope with the power at all and whatsmore, the sidewalls are like jelly. I went into a roundabout at low speed last night (slightly damp) and I might as well have let go of the steering wheel, hardly...

Am I just being stupid with our weather on normal roads? Should I just stick with the conti's?

Having recently treated my 147 to a new cambelt, variator, MAF (best £100 ever spent, FWIW) and new front and rear badges, I think it's about time the tyres were replaced. The front set are getting near the legal limit, the rears aren't too bad, but I can't bring myself to change only two out of...

Hi fellows! Finally I decided to get back to 14'' wheels as my alfa is a 1350cc and a 15''x 55x 185 was feeling a bit heavy and the car was suffering a bit wen first starting in traffic. A friend of mine brought me from Greece/Athens a pair of 14'' ADVANTI racing Ultralight rims and 4 TOYO...

hey....i need some advice im thinking of getting a new set of shoes...well..tyres.. have been looking at vaguely premium types...and found excellent prices on Toyo Proxes T1-R and Proxes 4 tyres....supposedly ultra high performance tyres but the 4s are good for all seasons as well... would go...

When replacing my brakes I noticed a bad gash to the inside face of my tyre. It's a conti sport 2, and to replace it is going to be £130.00 for one. I've been on the bay and seen some Pirelli p zero nero for about £160.00 a pair and Toyo proxes t1-r for £140.00 a pair. Which would you go for?

I know tyres have been done to death but I'm needing new fronts for my 159 and am struggling to find replacement Sessantas. Was thinking of getting Toyo Proxes T1Rs - anyone have any experience of these? I'm looking for comments on noise, grip, longevity etc.

Hi, Anybody else running Toyo Proxes T1Rs found the lifespan a little short? Had mine on for about a year now and have found that my nearside tyre is borderline legal on the inside edge, I know this none uniform wear isn't normal and I put it down to buggered wishbones and buggered ARB bushes...

Hallo, After much umming and erring I decided on four new Toyo T1-R proxies to replace the original and err treadless Goodyear GSD Eagle Vulcher Falcon things. In truth I only really needed the fronts but one of the rears had a slow puncture and the other one had a fast puncture, so I thought...
