Does anyone know a supplier of small torsion springs? I need a replacement for the interior drivers door handle of my '52 plate GTV. The local Alfa dealer was helpful enough but could only supply the spring when it was attached to the entire door card at a cost of £603! I'm currently scouring...
Does any one know if the Torsion bar / Strut Brace Part No. 50903141 is still available, tried a few dealers but no luck - I must admit the local stealer was a touch clueless.
Failing that any recommendations for equivalents or does any out there have one for sale.
Hey guys spotted some cracks on my rear Torsion bushes or sway bar bushes on my 147.
I was wondering what if i melted the old ones off and squeezed some rubber or 100% Polyurethane that comes in a tube like toothpaste.

Resources are limited but I did read somewhere that fitting a torsion bar to the Spider reduces scuttle shake and sharpens up steering responses.
Has anyone got any experiences with torsion bars?
Any advice on removing the torsion bar

Any advice gratefully received

I remember seeing them in a veru old accessories catelogue, has anyone got one and does it work. Ultimately i'd love a Q2 diff but wonder if this is a wise move until i get one, could both even be used in tandem?
Anyway a few q's there!
The front end of my 75 TS seems really creaky at the front. Very noticeable if in traffic or travelling at low speeds.
Has anyone else experienced this. I've been told to drill and plug the torsion bars with a grease nipple and pack full of grease due to the bushes drying out!
Well I have spoken to a few Alfa places down here and they don't really have much of an idea about how to adjust it. I asked one if they could also adjust the Konis to suit to which he replied "What you want them on full?". No I want them adjusted to suit obviously. So this lead me to think...
Anyone had any experience of after market torsion bars?! Eibach do one for the front end on a 146 and is supposed to dramatically reduce roll... I really don't want to be lowering and stiffening the springs, so it seems a good idea... in theory! I figure a strut brace across the top wouldn't...
