So I became a GTV owner back in May and with the car came a folder of assorted bills from all the work that had been done to it.
After 3 weeks the clutch went after getting quotes from a local Alfa specialist and a couple of other places my wife plump for the chuckle brothers! I think I posted...
I've had this issue a little while - like many people I guess, time is short and being able to leave the car at the garage and being car-less is something I've been putting off, as the only issue was when it is cold and needing to warm it up for a few mins.

So, I like the D'mode screen on my big navigation screen. However, when changing mp3's I'd still like to see the title of the song I've selected.
I seem to recall that it's possible to have this displayed on the little screen between the speedo and the revcounter, but I can't seem to find that...
EDIT: Please read to the end of the thread!
Just a warning to other AO.com users do not buy anything from this seller who is currently advertising on this forum. He is typical of the crooks you experience on ebay!
PS: He gave me his christian name as Paul.
PPS: Can someone give me Joe's...
First post etc.
Garage includes a TVR, Stag and an elderly 7 copy. I can state that there has never been an occasion when all 3 are functional ;)
The driveway accomodates a F*rd Mundano, my third, they've all been very reliable, 35k miles per year, cheap to service, handling is quite good...
I copied a few MP3's onto a stick when I got my car on Saturday and the song title, artist information, etc showed up on the display, however, when I copied the rest of my MP3 library over to the stick and plugged it back into the car, it will play the tracks but the display just shows Blue &...

Surely these odd will change over the course of the championship. Button can't be favourite from one race, can he ?
So this is the madness. As an introduction I suppose this must be all about me. The rear axle bearings on my '78 Spyder brought me here; being easily distracted, a cold beer will keep me. I am on another forum dealing with 3-cyl. m'bikes and enjoy the banter that usually comes with...
Found this forum by accident, looks like a friendly place.
On the look out for my first Alfa, not got a shed load to spend so its going to be a search for a bargain or a retro machine.
Hope to be an Alfaman soon!
Read this title discription of the Brera and it made me laugh!!
If envy is blind then why does the new Alfa Romeo Brera tease your vision like a double chocolate fudge cake on the gruelling tenth day of your single again diet?
There's some dodgy jerrymandering going on in the BEST ALFA competition. The whole of GIRLS ALOUD voted for Tarquini, my Inter-Continental Ballistic Muscle (aye.. 155 v6!) but the dodgy 156-driving mod's are jealous that this humble beast is kicking the '56s in the pants and DELETED...
Well, after the Mass Damper affair, and now the bizzare decision to penalise Alonso for driving 100 metres ahead of Massa, there are some people who might think there is a conspiracy against Alonso in favour of Schumacher. What do you think?
Found myself in a bookshop the other day and I was amazed at how many autobigraphies had the same title..
David Bekham, Jodie Marsh, Uncle Tom Cobbler and all .. each of them, after much deliberation, thought and care, managed to come up with the same considered title to sums up their life...
The Alfa Romeo 147 has won itself another important title by claiming the prestigious annual '24 Ore di Auto' held at the Misano circuit.
The race, held on the 11th and 12th of May, was...
