Hi All, I'd like to hear some thoughts. I have my 147 JTDM TI. It's just passed 148000. Last year was not a good year for it. I hit a truck tyre on the M53 that took out my bumber and aircon rad and bent some bits. I was so attached that I brought it back Class C from the insurer for £400 and...

My battery is only 2 years old and starts the car fine but I have been getting the VDC ABS Hill holder errors on start up if the car is left for more than 3 days even though the car starts well enough and does not crank slowly. I have found if you disable the alarms interior sensors by pressing...
  5. General Alfa Discussion
It seems every time I entrust one of my cars to somebody else I have a bad experience and I end up wishing I had enough space to all my own servicing. Twice now I have had cars that have come back from a garage with kerbed wheels and problems they seem unwilling or unable to fix. Are there no...

Hi guys, It's been a long time but like many do, I came back. And I'm back with a problem. The 2002 147 we bought had only one working key and a "spare" which is cut correctly, but the immobiliser rejects it. We were trusting to fate but it came unstuck today - the key dropped from my pocket at...

Ok so you have cleaned your leather seats to perfection:D With whatever product that works, it doesn't really matter.... Personally I use dove soap and a rough sponge then towel dry followed by Dove moisturizer and they come up tip top... But I digress;) Now they are all lovely and clean, you...

The centre console on my 147 is looking tired and dated...Has anyone ever done anything to improve theirs? Its sort of screaming out for it as that ally silver look is just a bit naff.

Hi everyone, Obviously I am new to the forum otherwise I wouldn't be introducing myself. I have a 156 Selespeed, (2000 YReg), which I bought on Ebay! A hell of a risk but I am pleased to say that the seller and the car, in particular, have done themselves proud. However, like me, the car is...

Just got my '01 156sw 1.8ts last week. Did an oil change and taped and cable-tied what was left of the thing back in place. I can get a replacement made of PE-HD for like €50. I've read here that there are metal ones available, but none of the links were still working, and I haven't found any...

GT has now getting on at 80K and having taken a fair abuse from mostly country roads it's time to spend a bit to 'tighten' the handling up in an attempt to get it back to when I got the car out of the wrapper. Any of you more experienced GT or 147 owners out there : advice on most effective...

My 2.0TS was getting up to 110deg whilst stuck in traffic and running at 100deg at 70mph, a lot of the radiator fins were missing and those that remained crumbled when touched, just fitted a new radiator and shes running at just under 90deg at 70mph, just thought i'd mention it in case anyone...

Hy everybody. I have an Alfa 159 2.4 jtdm 200 hp from 2006, and I am really tired of this car. It´s the worst buy that I ever done in my whole live.
