Hi to all,
I am trying to get a RadioNav unit working in my car. I have a late 2008 MiTo with Bose. From what I have discovered, it does not use the Bose activating connection (BOOSTER) on the mini-ISO jack, there are just 3 connections for Blue&Me on the small jack. It looks like only BOOSTER...
Thinking about adding one to my 159 - im presuming id lose steering wheel control but it'd be nice to have in built sat nav and just a nicer looking unit.
Anyone done this can offer any advice or info greatly appreciated?
A really quick question.
Do all the head units in the 159s feature the cd changer input.
I'm thinking of getting one of those Yatour MP3 units that plugs into the cd changer port and wondered if it was standard across the range ?
Mine is 2007 model without MP3 playback.
Any help very...
As per title look to get a decent double din stereo for my GT.
What have you guys gone for?
Also what facia surround have you added with it?
I'm after something modern but doesn't look too tacky or non OEM.

Anyone got any idea's ??
I am thinking about changing the standard stereo for an aftermarket, decent stereo.
Couple of things I would like to ask.
1) Can anyone recommend a good quality after market stereo that you can still use the steering wheel controls with. (obviously with relevant adaptors etc)
2) Will fitting...
This has been puzzling me for ages, so maybe you can all help me out. I have three general questions:
1. Why does everyone seem to think the factory stereo in the 147/GT is crap?
2. Is there any point spending thousands on car "hi-fi" seeing as you can't get a decent stereo image in a car...
Has anyone had any problems fitting new, front-loading car stereos into their GTV? I hate the basic tape player and wouldn't even consider feeding a boot-loading CD player into it. Are there any additional adaptors needed and is it easy to get the existing piece of kit out (with no keys)...
