I'm driving a 3 year old GTV, with the 3.0V6 engine. Having some problems with its acceleration at the moment - wonder if anyone can help: I put my foot down and off it goes, nice and quick. Then (esp. in 3rd gear), when it hits about 3,000rpm, the acceleration stops and it feels like...

Greetings all. I note that elsewhere in this forum, RIOT is trying to unload an unwanted OMP strut brace that he'd had on a 147. He couldn't spot the difference... Perhaps there was none. Do strut braces fall into the same category as Optimax petrol and Selenia motor oil? Are these all things...

This is to everyone I've spoken to and met at various Alfa meets around the country over the past few years, due to the fact I'm leaving the country to start a new venture in France, I doubt I'll be back on here for a while, anyone interested in a holiday in france should check out my new place...

Anyone any ideas for checking and adjusting the front castor on my Spider. It is probably miles out since taking the suspension to bits, forgot to measure the arm length before messing about with it. None of the garages around here seem able to, or don't want too.

Has anyone else found the 'sweet spot' on the rear bumper of the GTV, use a soft cloth to gently rub the bumper, when you get to the spot you'll know what I mean. Its rather like the feeling of the headlamp covers on the Fiat Coupe using a soapy sponge! :D

HI lads, just had a new front spot fitted (in the bumper) the new one is crystal clear the old one looks like crap in comparison, dirt in the inside of it.Is it worth stripping it out to try and clean the inside of it as it will be a ***** of a job as she is dropped to 40mm and clearance...

Unhappy with the half inch wide ring of rust on the face of my rear right brake disc, I finally got round to investigating the cause this morning. I was expecting the pad to have been worn away by the rusty disc as used to happen on my old Golf but no, it had simply been installed upside-down...

I've got a 156 V6 and it has a slight flat spot around 5k revs. Is this normal? Also looking for independent servicing in Hampshire. Any recommendations?

My GTV has recently developed rather an irritating flat spot at about 4,500 revs, just where the power usually kicks in when you give it some stick!!. Has anyone else had a similar condition? would a routine tune up sort this out? or could it be a symptom of something much worse. Also...

Hi New to both Alfa and this forum. LOVE our new red 147 2.0TS Manual, but suspect the Continental SportContact tyres have flat spots. Has anyone else experienced this with new Conti's? If so, will the flat spots come out eventually? Many thanks SS

This might be my style or driving or something, but Ive noticed that when pulling away in 1st gear(regardless of how heavy I am with the accelerator) that there is a little dead spot. So the car accelerates, pauses (after 0.5 - 1 sec?) and then continues to accelerate all the way up to the red...
