With very aggressive looking cars on the road labelled with equally aggressive names, maybe it’s time for a gentler, softer approach to driving; one that can start with car names. Here’s your chance to come up with some car names you think would make the world a better place. Usual rules apply -...
Here is a little story and my question regarding the post title in the end.
Ok so I hit a frikkin pothole (mothership sized!!) at normal speeds and it cut my 2 month old 19" MPS4S side wall last night. To say the least getting it sorted has taken me until this afternoon and wasn't a pleasant...
first post I'm afraid. New baby arrived on the scene in August and my beloved GTR has got to go. Looking at a QF as more of a family car with room for pram and other assorted baby paraphenalia! plus suitcases if needed.
Anyone else on here have a QF with young kid(s)? Will there be...
I have not posted on this forum for a good 10 years since I last had an Alfa 147 (it's nice to be back as it is very impressive forum) . I am however currently in the process of purchasing an Alfa GT JTDM Q2 Cloverleaf on a bit of a whim when looking for a more suitable option as an...
Having just purchased my first Alfas, blind, a 147 and a 156 (how's that for confidence!), I noted that whilst both cars come fitted with Alfa 16" alloys, the space saver spare wheels are only 15"...Will this be a problem if and when I have to change a tyre?
I'm getting new idea. but I cannot seem to decide, should I do it or not. :depressed: I found a battery called OPTIMA, it is very good at cranking I think. And I choosed it because you can put it any direction you want. Only It's not recommended upside down.
In my project I...
The GTV has always been my favourite looking Alfa of recent years so if any V6 GTV owners are needing something a bit bigger I'm willing to look at a swap deal with my GT 3.2. A cracking car but the GTV edges it on looks for me and I definitely don't need the space anymore
My 156 is being troubleshooted for the strange knocking metal sound.
I was just wondering if I was to buy another engine, might i think about 2.4 jtdm instead of current 1.9 jtdm.
Whats to be reffited besides engine and gearbox?

I tested a lovely V6 over the weekend but I couldn't get over the difference in space for my left foot compared to my Ph1 TS.
When I would put my foot on the footrest, it was also half over the clutch. On my Ph1 TS, there's plenty of space - a good 3 inches more at least.
Anyone know why this...
Just bought a space saver spare wheel for my 3.2 GT as it doesn't have one as standard. I know it can't be used on the front because of the bigger Brembo brakes that come standard on the GT. My question is however, can I use the standard wheel bolts to fit the spare? My car has the 18 inch alloys.
I read a post on here about people struggling to find good reliable car ramp hire centres so that you can work on your own car and I wanted to find out a bit more.
I'm planning to open a car ramp hire centre on the outskirts of Leeds City Centre later this year and I wanted to know...
Behind the panels, under the ICS (Tapedeck/DIS) unit there is something that looks like a 1 DIN size space, just about behind the clima controls.
Are this space intentionally left blank, or does it serve a purpose? Are there any equipment that is located there? Phone or?
I am going to need a bit of extra space in the back of my G for a trip to France and was wondering how easy (or if it is possible) it is to take the back seats out. My car is a 2013 Sportiva with red leather seats.
I would look at the fixings myself but the weather's rubbish outside!!! :lol...
